Sexteto Milonguero, a tango orchestra formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was founded by Javier Di Ciriaco in 2006, consisting of six musicians: Ignacio Claramonte on bandoneón, Marisol Canessa and Gustavo Garay on violins, Alejandro Abbonizio on double bass, and Javier Di Ciriaco as the vocalist. Their debut album, Pa’ que bailen, was released in 2009. The group's repertoire expanded over time to include Argentine folk songs and other influences, reflecting the diverse musical backgrounds of its members. Sexteto Milonguero gained international recognition through extensive tours across Argentina, Latin America, Europe, Canada, Singapore, China, and the USA in 2017. Their subsequent albums include 7 (2010) and Doble o nada (2014), with latter album notably featuring both classic tunes from the 1940s and original compositions by Sexteto Milonguero.
