Runaway Kids is an American hardcore and metalcore band from San Fernando, California, formed in 2005 under the name Betrayal. The founding lineup consisted of vocalist Brendan Foley, guitarist Sean Chamilian, bassist Andrew Adolph, and drummer Cayle Sain. After several lineup changes, Chamilian is the only founding member left in the group. The band signed with Mediaskare Records in July 2008 and released the debut album The People's Fallacy (2008) as a digital download. In April 2011, they released the album Abandonment and toured Europe with Bury Your Dead and For the Fallen Dreams. The group performed on the Hell on Earth Tour in 2012 alongside Walls of Jericho and Death Before Dishonor, and co-headlined a tour of the eastern United States with King Conquer in August 2013. In March 2015, they changed their name to Runaway Kids and released the EP Better Days (2015). The current lineup includes vocalist Gage Armstrong, bassist Korey Keeton, and drummer RJ Shankle.
