Pimmon is the recording name of Australian ambient and electronic music, record producer, and arranger Paul David Gough. He started making music in the early 1980s, inspired by Severed Heads, and refined his craft on a laptop. In 1999, a CD‑R sent to the Japanese label Meme produced his first commercial release. Subsequent releases include Afternoon Tea (2000), I Left My Heart (2000), and P-Waves (2002). He also collaborated with Oren Ambarchi and Fennesz. Gough performed at festivals, toured countries, released music on Fat Cat Records and Staalplaat. He produced and hosted radio programs on ABC Radio Adelaide and FBi 94.5, and performed with guitarist Jeff Burch as Mandala Trap.
