Maria Jacobs is a nationally recognized Chrisitan and Jazz recording and voice over artist and author. Born of Syrian Lebanese and Armenian descent, Maria was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, but spent more than a decade performing and recording in Los Angeles with some of the industry's finest musicians and producers, including Tommy Coster (Eminem, Santana), Alphonso Johnson and the late Ndugu Chancellor (Weather Report).
In her home town, Maria recorded multiple albums with Grammy Award winning producer Pete Tokar, specifically her most recent release, "Perfect Is Your Will," her first full Christian album, (2025). Maria has charted on the Groove Jazz and Smooth Jazz Holiday Charts and her ninth album, "Back at the Bop Stop," recorded live, was accepted for Grammy review in the 66th Annual Grammy Awards ® in 2024 in the Best Jazz Vocal Album Category.
Maria has also been a featured soloist for Wynton Marsalis' Abyssinain Mass under the direction of his musical director, Damien Sneed, and also with the Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra Chorus for the high profile MLK Celebration at the famed Severance Hall (2015). She has been an opening act for Jazz trumpeter and songwriter Chuck Mangione; Jazz songwriter and singer, Bob Dorough; R&B group The Average White Band and British Soul Band Loose Ends.
