Tout commence un jour... vis ta vie au Day by Day
Henri Bungert is a singer, songwriter and producer from Paris who left to pursue his musical career in 2019 to the British Institute of Modern Music in London. During his time there, he got the opportunity to produce and collaborate with international musicians who influenced him to leave Europe in order to start a new chapter in Mexico City.
His move to CDMX gave him the opportunity to explore and discover new genres and musicians that influenced the development of his upcoming musical projects. From Brassen’s lyricism, Lomepal’s urban verses, Bob Marley’s messages, James Blake’s harmonies to Rosalia’s and Manu Chao’s latin beats; Henri’s musical influences have helped him experiment and create rich, authentic and rhythmic music.
With the help of real instruments and produced beats, Henri builds his music around the sensitivity of his texts which reflect the experiences he has had in the different stages of his life. He recounts his daily life with authenticity and aspires to share his universe in a personal story which everyone can resonate.
In 2023, he returned to France to arrange and finalize his composed titles alongside British key player/saxophonist Tom McCann and Shawondasee collective.
He signed in distribution with PlayTwo for a first EP that will be released in April of 2023.
