Mental District is a heavy-thrash metal band from Craiova, Romania. The band was founded in 2017 by Mihai Cazacu (guitar), Cristian Popescu (bass), Mihnea Stancescu (drums), Adrian Cȋmpeanu (vocal) and Cristian Avram (guitar). The musical style, which the band members approach, can be described by the influences of Metallica and Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Dio, Testament, Kreator and others by melodic and fast solo interventions and by the clear but strong voice that accompanies attractive bass and percussion scores. The themes of the lyrics come from a rich inspirational palette, born from mystical visions or social problems .
Mental District is the journey we went on, defined by "madness" and the desire to sing for you, for us and for all those who appreciate music, whatever it may be.
