Terror

Terror was formed in 2002 in Los Angeles in the US state of California. The band plays hardcore punk with influences from beatdown hardcore and metalcore. Singer Scott Vogel and drummer Nick Jett founded the group after the end of earlier projects such as Buried Alive and Carry On. The current line-up includes Scott Vogel, Nick Jett, guitarists Martin Stewart and Jordan Posner and bassist Chris Linkovich. Terror quickly developed into one of the most important modern hardcore bands in the USA. The group stands for aggressive songs, direct lyrics and intense concerts with no distance to the audience. The content of the songs often revolves around pain, the will to persevere, social tensions and loyalty. The debut album Lowest of the Low was released in 2003. One with the Underdogs (2004) followed a year later. The album sells more than 40,000 copies and reaches number 10 in the Billboard Heatseekers Charts. With Always the Hard Way (2006), Terror cemented their reputation as a force to be reckoned with in the international hardcore scene. This was followed by The Damned, the Shamed (2008), Keepers of the Faith (2010), Live by the Code (2013) and The 25th Hour (2015). In 2018, the single "Total Retaliation" announces the album of the same name, Total Retaliation, which reaches number 12 in the independent billboard charts. Pain Into Power is released in 2022. The album receives strong reviews in the hardcore and metal scene. 2026 sees the release of Still Suffer, another studio album by the band.
