Keshi

Keshi is the stage name of American rapper Casey Luong, born in Houston, Texas, on November 4, 1994. Inspired by John Mayer and Ed Sheeran, he took his first steps in music by teaching himself how to play guitar using his grandfather's Vietnamese music book. Thanks to online tutorials, he was quickly able to learn how to write, produce, and mix his own material, and began sharing his songs around 2017. After graduating from college with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Keshi worked for two years as an oncology nurse before quitting in 2019 to pursue a career in music. That same year, he landed a deal with Island Records and released the EP Skeletons, which climbed to Number 5 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart. Following the release of the EPs Bandaids and Always in 2020, Keshi finally dropped his studio debut Gabriel in 2022, reaching Number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, Number 72 in Australia, and Number 70 in Canada.
