Os Quatro e Meia

Os Quatro e Meia, a Portuguese musical group from Coimbra, was formed in 2013 following a successful performance by university students at a fundraiser for a dance academy. The band initially consisted of João Cristóvão on violin and mandolin, Mário Ferreira on accordion and voice, Pedro Figueiredo on percussion, Ricardo Almeida on voice and guitar, Rui Marques on double bass, and Tiago Nogueira on voice and guitar. Their debut album, Pontos nos Is, was released in 2017, marking their breakthrough into the national music scene. Their second album, O Tempo Vai Esperar, was released in 2020, followed by Os Quatro e Meia - Live at the Cidade de Coimbra Stadium in 2023. In 2023, Os Quatro e Meia won a Golden Globe for Best Song of the Year.
