Qinhones

Brazilian songwriter from Rio, Qinhones (FKA Qinho) has been active since the early 2000’s. Released four solo records so far, including Canduras (2008), O Tempo Soa (2012) (with special guests Mart'nália & Elba Ramalho), Ímpar (2015) and Qinho Canta Marina (2018) (a tribute to Marina Lima). From bossa/samba-rock to boogie, the catalogue goes through his biggest influences on brazilian musical roots. 
 Going deeper into R&B aesthetics, Qinhones recently droped the EP Gota (2021), including single Toda Manhã featuring Mahmundi. His next record is coming on 2022, stablishing a new partnership with composer, arranger and brazilian bassist Alberto Continentino.
 
Beside his work as a lead artist, Qinhones also co-created several cultural projects, highlight to “Dia da Rua” music festival that occupied the streets of Rio, turning them into concert venues for seven editions.
