Biografia
A soulful British R&B singer with a penchant for writing personal, highly emotional songs, Manchester, England native Pip Millett (born in 1997 or 1998) counts Bob Marley and Lauryn Hill among her biggest influences. First playing the guitar as a teenager, Millett first garnered attention as a featured vocalist on the Joe Hertz track “Goodbye Kisses”. The 2018 track “Make Me Cry”, which dealt directly with feelings of anxiety, increased her profile thanks to social media. The single “Love the Things You Do” quickly followed. Millett issued the EP Do Well in 2019. Touring plans in 2020 were abandoned due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but in April of that year she released her EP Lost In June which showed even more sophistication in her sound as she incorporated elements of jazz into her soulful R&B aesthetic.
