Christian Jiménez Bundó, known professionally as Porta, was born on July 2, 1988, in Sarrià, Barcelona. He began recording rap as a teenager, gaining early attention with the self-released demos No Es Cuestión de Edades in June 2006 and No Hay Truco in January 2007. In December 2007 he issued the EP En Boca de Tantos, followed by his debut studio album of the same name in 2008. He released Trastorno Bipolar in 2009 and Reset in 2012. In 2014 he released Algo Ha Cambiado. His song "Dragon Ball Rap" became the third most watched video on a video streaming platform in Spain in 2010. In 2024 he released the album Letargo. Porta's music has sparked controversy, with lyrics drawing criticism from the Instituto Nacional de las Mujeres. Despite this, he has maintained a dedicated fan base and continues to be an influential figure in Spanish hip hop.
