Biografia
Kim Hyun-joong is a South Korean pop singer who gained fame as a member of the boy band SS501 and went on to pursue a career as a solo artist, songwriter and actor. After success with the group from 2005, he appeared on the television series 'We Got Married' and 'Boys Over Flowers'. He made his solo recording debut with EP 'Break Down' in 2011 followed by 'Lucky' which went to number five on Billboard's World Albums Chart while the title track reached number 15 on Billboard's Korea K-Pop Hot 100. Two 2012 tracks, 'Kiss Kiss' and 'Heat', peaked at number two on the Japan Hot 100. EP 'Round' topped the World Chart in 2013. He performed internationally until he entered mandatory military service in 2015 and served until 2017. 'The Best of Kim Hyun-joong' came out while he was in the army and following his discharge he released another Korean EP 'Haze' and in 2018 two more albums in Japan, 'Take My Hand' and 'Wait for Me'. His 2019 schedule included appearances at venues in South Korea, Japan and Bolivia.
