Siwakhile Dlamini (born June 28 2000), known professionally as Amrig, is a Swazi rapper, songwriter and overall musician.
Born in Manzini, Eswatini and raised in the same city, Amrig began rapping at the age of 16. After working on his music consistently and building his own sound, he was approached by Swazi Jive Records in 2017 and later signed to them in 2018. He released three singles under the label; "Never Right" (2018), "Night Boomerang" (2018), and "Star (feat. Shiloh" (2019) before going on to leave the label and become fully independent in August 2019. Amrig's catalogue includes an EP titled "Madhouse" as well as a summer pack titled "Margaritas & Sunsets". The artist is preparing to release his first full-length project titled "Off-Kilter" and has lead with the release of a single and music video "7/11 Freestyle" and a prelude titled "Rig's Prelude" that includes two records. Off-Kilter is expected to be put out in the early stages of 2023 and looks to establish Amrig's place as an artist to look out for.
