Using a fusion of rap and reggaeton, Yosdany Jacob Carmenates, better known as Jacob Forever, "El Inmortal," has showcased his talents as a singer and songwriter, as well ash is artistic versatility across bachata, urban music, and reggaeton.
At the age of 20, he formed the musical group Made in Cuba, where he served as director, composer, and singer. In 2004, Jacob joined the group Gente de Zona, where he remained for 10 years of his career. He was a composer and singer on renowned albums such as Lo “Mejor Que Suena Ahora Vol. 1” and “Vol. 2,” among others, as well as songsl ike “Le Gusta Los Artistas” and “El Animal,” which topped the charts in Cuba, Miami, and Europe.
From 2013 to 2015, Jacob and El Dany formed a musical group that gained recognition with their debut production “Más Duro,” followed by “Son Muchas Cosas,” performing in several countries, including the United States, Canada, and Europe.
In 2015, Jacob made his worldwide debut as a solo artist with his first album, El Inmortal, produced by DJ Roumy. His song “Hasta Que Se Seque el Malecón” opened international doors and earned him numerous artistic accolades.
He has collaborated with international artists such as Farruko, Pitbull, Thalía, Enrique Iglesias, La India, De La Ghetto, Nacho, Leslie Shaw, Victor Manuelle, Beatriz Luengo, Cosculluela, Sixto Rein, Álvaro Torres, Abraham Mateo, among others.
