Marié Christina Digby, known professionally as Marié Digby, was born on April 16, 1983. She began writing songs during high school in Los Angeles and gained early recognition by winning the 2004 Pantene Pro-Voice competition with her song "Miss Invisible". Digby subsequently signed with Disney's Hollywood Records. Her breakthrough came when she posted cover videos on streaming platforms, leading to the release of her rendition of Rihanna’s "Umbrella", which peaked at number 10 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart and was featured on MTV's The Hills. Digby released her debut album Unfold in April 2008. She followed with Second Home, a Japan-exclusive cover album, in March 2009, and then Breathing Underwater later that year. Her subsequent albums include Your Love (2011) and Winter Fields (2013). Digby also released the EP Wildfire and the album Pop Covers in 2018, showcasing her versatility with covers of popular songs.
