High And Mighty Color, a Japanese rock band originating from Okinawa, Japan, formed in 2003. The group initially consisted of Meg and Sassy, who later added Kazuto, mACKAz, and Yūsuke to their lineup. Maki joined the band shortly after, completing the six-member ensemble. High And Mighty Color began as Anti-Nobunaga, performing covers of Metallica songs before transitioning into original compositions. The band's breakthrough came with their song "Pride"(2005), which served as the second opening theme for the anime series Gundam Seed Destiny. This exposure significantly boosted their popularity, leading to a major label deal with Spice Records under Sony Music Japan. Their debut single "Pride" reached number 2 on the Oricon charts and sold over 200,000 copies. Following this success, High And Mighty Color released several singles, including "Over", "Run☆Run☆Run", and "Days". Their first album, G∞ver, debuted at number 8 on the Oricon charts. The band was awarded the Japan Record Award for Best New Artist in 2005. Despite their initial success, High And Mighty Color disbanded in 2010.
