Kakkmaddafakka

Kakkmaddafakka is a Norwegian indie rock band that was founded in Bergen in 2004. The founding members are the brothers Axel Vindenes (vocals, guitar) and Pål Vindenes (vocals, guitar, cello) as well as their school friends Stian Sævig (bass, vocals) and Jonas Nielsen (piano, vocals). Kristoffer van der Pas (drums, vocals) and Sebastian Kittelsen (piano) later joined the band. Kakkmaddafakka's musical style is an eclectic mix of indie rock, pop and indie R&B. The band is known for their energetic live performances and their ability to seamlessly combine different genres. Their debut album Down to Earth was released in 2007 and reached number 20 on the Norwegian VG Topp30 album list. the album Hest, produced by Erlend Øye, followed in 2011 with the single "Restless". in 2013, the band released Six Months Is a Long Time, also produced by Erlend Øye, with the singles "Someone New", "Young" and "Forever Alone". This album reaches number 79 in the German album charts. Further albums are KMF (2016), Hus (2017), Diplomacy (2019) and Revelation (2022). in 2020, the band released the EP Ontas?, which included the song "Baby". Finally, the Christmas single "Christmas Miracle" was released at the end of 2024.
