Matheus Fernandes, born in Fortaleza on November 9, 1991, is a Brazilian singer and songwriter celebrated for blending forró with sertanejo and electronic beats. Starting his career as a political marketing professional, he transitioned to music after discovering a passion for composing and performing, creating hits like "Mulherada na Lancha" and "Chama o Samu," famously recorded by Wesley Safadão. His breakthrough single "Sonâmbulo," featuring Léo Santana in 2019, became a viral sensation, setting the stage for his 2021 megahit "Baby Me Atende" with Dilsinho, which topped charts and earned him a nomination for the Multishow Award for Best Hit. The same year, he released the album Na Praia, which included the global success "Baby Me Atende," becoming the only Brazilian album in The streaming global Top 10.
