Rondodasosa

Real name Mattia Barbieri, Italian rapper Rondodasosa was born in Milan on April 29, 2002. He grew up in the working-class neighborhood of San Siro, working odd jobs before taking up rap. In 2020, he achieved viral success with the track "Free Samy" (2020), dedicated to a fellow inmate during his time in prison. The track, which attracted three million listens, was followed by "Face to Face" (a remix of King Von's "Exposing Me" ) and "Louboutin" with Vale Pain. At the end of the year, his first EP, Giovane Rondo, is released at No. 6, featuring contributions from Capo Plaza and Shiva. He collaborates with British rapper Central Cee on "Movie", then with Capo Plaza, Russ Millions and Tion Wayne on "Body", among other solo hits such as "Dubai", "Shawty" and "Chinga". Following his participation in the RM4E and Seven 700 collectives, Rondodasosa released his debut album Trenches Baby in November 2022, which reached number one in the Italian charts, boosted by collaborations with Lazza, Vale Pain, Thasup, Rose Villain and Ghali. A year later followed the album Motivation 4 the Streetz with Artie 5ive, which reached No. 4, before a dispute intervened between the two artists. In 2024, the Blue Tape mixtape, with no collaborations other than those of producers, reached No. 6. The following year, Mattia, featuring contributions from Guè, Ayo Ally and Heartman, reached No. 3.
