Pablo Martins

Pablo Martins is a Brazilian rapper, composer, and producer best known as a founding force behind the Rio-based collective and label 1Kilo, which he helped establish in 2016 after early sessions with DoisP, DJ Grego, and Rasta Beats; with the move to Rio de Janeiro, the team formalized 1Kilo’s acoustic-leaning rap format and rapidly scaled its audience. He became one of the voices of the crew’s breakout wave in 2017, appearing on widely streamed releases including “Deixe Me Ir” from Acústico 1Kilo as well as “Você Vai Entender” and “Dia de Caça,” projects that positioned 1Kilo among the country’s most visible rap outfits. Parallel to 1Kilo activity, Pablo Martins began issuing collaborations outside the core roster, notably teaming with Oriente and Baviera on the single “Essa Eu Fiz pra Você (Acústico)” in 2018 and joining Konai and Altamira on the 2019 track “Fica Mais um Pouco.” He pivoted toward a fuller solo run in 2020 with the seven-track EP Menino Damáfia and a cluster of singles—“Vai Além,” “Jardim,” “Desce Mais Doce,” and “Água Salgada”—that kept his melodic, romantic-rap signature intact. Subsequent releases sustained that momentum: “Apaga a Luz” and its remix landed in 2021, the single “Para e Analisa” arrived at the end of 2022, and that same year Pablo Martins appeared on Kalango’s album Mar Azul via the cut “O Tempo Traz” with Água Salgada and Projeto Primata. Through 2023–2025 he has remained active across singles, features, and live work linked to the extended 1Kilo network, consolidating a catalog that bridges the crew’s acoustic cipher roots with his own pop-rap sensibility.
