Wunderhorse

UK indie-rockers Wunderhorse were formed in the picturesque English coastal town of Newquay by frontman and songwriter Jacob Slater. Initially steered as a solo project by Jacob Slater during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he later welcomed Harry Tristan Fowler (guitar), Peter Woodin (bass) and Jamie Staples (drums) into the fold and the group set about releasing their debut album Club via Communion Music in 2022. The LP was produced by Kevin Jones and Peter Woodin and received critical acclaim, paving the way for a number of key live support slots, including a gig at Glastonbury Festival 2023. The band fared even better with their second LP Midas, which was produced by former Rolling Stones producer Craig Silvey and reached number six on the UK Albums Chart.
