La Firma

La Firma is a Mexican norteño and Tex-Mex group formed in 1996 in San Nicolás de los Garza. The ensemble was founded by Juan Cárdenas, Adrián González, and singer-songwriter Luis Padilla. In 1998, the band released its debut studio album, Como una estrella, through Sony Music. The recording included the track “La culpable”, which reached the number 10 position on regional radio charts. The group released Para recordar in 2000, which received a Gold record for sales exceeding 100,000 copies and included the song “La llamada”. Subsequent albums included Por el amor de una mujer (2001), featuring a duet with Ricardo Muñoz, Laberintos (2003), and Lo mejor de mi vida (2005). After signing with Serca Music, the group released Buena suerte (2007) and the live album Vivo/Live (2009). Following the 2013 release Disco negro, the band issued Happy 20's [Inevitable] in 2017.
