New Lofi Jazzy ChillHop project 🔥
HoodyBoi is a Jazzy ChillHop Lofi music project.
Composer-producer John Linhart claims to write his music inspired by the vivid emotions of certain life experiences or artistic works.
It's a blend of the two that enabled him to produce a first four-track EP entitled "Beautiful Memories", released in September 2023 on the "Millenium Jazz Music" label.
On this project, which gave rise to HoodyBoi's visual universe, John wanted to pay tribute to his grandmother Susanna Linhart, a British painter who passed away in February 2021, by using her paintings as covers for singles and EPs.
Electric guitars, bass lines, pianos, saxophones and samples are the main colors used in his compositions.
The project is also intended to enable John to work on tracks in collaboration with different artists, such as saxophonist Adrien Roch on several tracks of the EP, or with other Lofi music-producing artists, as in his collaboration with Dutch artist "Inf" on the track "Chocolate Heaven" released on October 13, 2023 on the Aviary Records label.
