In March 2025 Jodymoon will release their 8th studio album.
Jodymoon was founded in 2006 by singer/pianist Digna Janssen and multi-instrumentalist Johan Smeets. The two won the audience award of the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in 2008 with their mix of folk, pop and roots. Jodymoon has since released seven studio albums, all of which have received critical acclaim. In 2023 they released a live album covering 10 years of live-recordings of their concerts. The band performed in Canada, Spain, England, Germany and Italy and was the support act for Joan Armatrading, Damien Jurado, Wende and Tom McRae.
