Formed in Marseille in 2004, Jostle is a power trio driven by raw energy and a deep love for rock, grunge, and punk. With Anthony (guitar, vocals), Phil aka Oneshot (bass), and Tristan (drums), the band delivers a sound that’s honest, punchy, and straight to the point, somewhere between Foo Fighters, Soundgarden, Weezer, Queen, and Biffy Clyro.
From their early days, Jostle made a name for themselves on the Southern French scene, fueled by intense live performances and an unwavering passion for playing loud. Their debut EP, "Reason My Mind" (2005), caught the attention of the local press and took them on the road from Montpellier to Nice.
With "Nine by Three", the band stepped up its game. Over the years, Jostle has rocked stages both big and small — from Espace Julien, L’Usine, and Le Jas’Rod to the Hard Rock Café Paris and a crowd of 3,000 at Parc Chanot. No matter the size of the venue, they play like it’s their last show.
In 2014, the band fully embraced independence with "On the Edge of Horizon", followed in 2018 by "Youth Has No Age", a bold, no-frills rock album built for the stage.
Now in 2025, Jostle is back with their sixth album, "White Noise". Mixed at Studio Rec2live, this new chapter is all about staying true, playing loud, and chasing the spark. Release scheduled for October 2025.
