Juan & Lisa Winans are an American Gospel music husband and wife duo. Affectionally, referred to as a “power couple”, Juan and Lisa were already accomplished singer/songwriters before they married in 2007. Juan hailing from the legendary Gospel music family, The Winans, as a member of Winans Phase 2 and Lisa as the lead singer of the trailblazing Contemporary Christian Music group, Out of Eden.
After signing her first record deal at the age of 18 with Christian music icon, Toby Mac, Lisa went on to record six albums, win 2 Dove Awards, a Grammy Award nomination and multiple #1 songs. She’s shared her incredible gift and passion for music on stages around the world and has collaborated with a long list of artist as a writer and producer.
Juan, also a Grammy nominated singer, began his career with the Billboard #1 Gospel Album, ‘Winans Phase 2: We Got Next’ and continued on to write and produce for many Gospel, Pop and R&B artists, from Mary Mary and Lalah Hathaway to Smokie Norful and Michael Bolton, Juan has composed music for some of today’s most critically acclaimed artists.
After years of leading worship together at churches around the world, Juan & Lisa are returning to the studio as recording artists. In October 2019 they released a Christmas album entitled “Rest.” The following month the duo signed with Michael-Anthony “Mooki” Taylor’s Miami based Dare Records and got right to work on “It Belongs To Me (featuring Marvin L. Winans).” the lead single from their debut album. The song will be available everywhere May 8th.
