Cozmic Cat, one of the few international winners of the Future Talent Awards 2023, returns to HE.SHE.THEY. Records to release her sensational 4-track EP, Choices.
When Toronto-based Cozmic Cat is not wowing crowds with her high energy DJ sets alongside the
likes of Claptone, Jellybean Benitez and Hercules & Love Affair, she’s garnering worldwide attention
with her slew of forward-thinking, polished releases. Jamie Jones, Robert Owens and Carlo Lio were
all keen supporters of the Make Love EP (HE.SHE.THEY. Records). Earlier this summer, Cozmic Cat was
honoured as a Future Talent Award finalist (PTDJA), selected by a distinguished panel including Pete
Tong, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Sama’ Abdulahi, leading to their recent Destino Pacha Ibiza debut (Spain) .
Throughout the Choices EP, it is clear that Cozmic Cat is a passionate advocate for House music, with
a respect for the past and an ear for the future. Title track, Choices, is full uplifting, classic house with
an incredibly affirming message in the moving vocal. Meanwhile, Cozmic opts for a darker, Breakbeat-
infused approach on Miracles. Her incredible skill as a producer could not be clearer than on Thoughts
of You as she expertly develops and blends each distinctive musical layer. Closing this EP is a track
destined to light up dancefloors with its emphatic groove: That Life.
