Ombrar is a British & French techno and experimental producer now based in England formed as a sound engineer. He is driven by sound even more than music itself which has significantly shaped the way he produces music, allowing him to craft
a distinctive style that is both rough and mysterious.
This signature sound brings a strong storytelling element to his music, making it instantly recognizable. Whether it’s ambient, hardcore, or anything in between, you instantly know it’s Ombrar the moment you hear his music.
Always on the move and constantly seeking inspiration, Ombrar is relentless in his exploration of new sounds. From cellos and thunder sheets to modular synth, guitars and field recordings, there’s hardly a sound Ombrar isn’t willing to explore.
This obsessive dedication to push his sound has also led him to develop a live performance built around his modular system, further showcasing his innovative approach to sound design.
He also co-founded his own record label “Black Silhouette Records” with his brother back in 2017. Deeply inspired by the eeriness and unknown of this world, he is always searching for atmospheres that will define his path.
