Xavier was born Bay Area resident Eugene Xavier Duckworth Jr. the son of the owner of coffee chain, Gene's Beans. At the age of 21, Xavier went platinum with the song “X Marks The G-Spot” off his album, “Somebody Xave Me”. From there he turned to acting, starring in jungle adventure, Hungry Hungry Hippos and securing a People's Choice Award nomination for his portrayal of Daryl Hall alongside Channing Tatum’s John Oates in the musical biopic, Private Eyes. Although Xavier recently died tragically, his music lives on in his latest unfinished album, now an EP titled “R.I.P. Xavier,” which ironically features his new single, “Imma Live Forever.”
