We are SPLEEN, a brand new french metal band from Montpellier. A nascent project composed of 5 musicians already experienced or also playing in other bands in France ( ex- EXODUST , EIGA , SIDILARSEN ).
This project aims to awaken people on various aspects and subjects by confronting its listeners with the energetic and
violent transcription of the latter, in a musical and scenic way.
SPLEEN comes from the fusion of several influences such as DEALER , ALPHA WOLF , THROWN or EMMURE and includes jerky, sharp riffs and hardcore passages,
mainly rhythmic, as well as atmospheres and effects that support the violence of the music and lyrics.
After adding the melancholy that unites its 5 members, SPLEEN was officially born in early 2023 after a year of
work.
