My Sister’s Machine was an American rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1989. The group consisted of Nick Pollock on vocals and rhythm guitar, Owen Wright on lead guitar, Chris Ivanovich on bass, and Chris Gohde on drums. Before forming My Sister's Machine, several members were involved in other bands: Pollock played guitar in Alice N' Chains with Layne Staley, while Wright and Gohde were part of Mistrust. The band released their debut album, Diva, in 1992 to critical acclaim, followed by Wallflower in 1993. They toured extensively with acts like Pantera and White Zombie, and received the "Best New Group" award from the Northwest Music Association in 1991. Despite their initial success, My Sister’s Machine disbanded in 1994. The group reunited briefly in 2010 to headline the Layne Staley Tribute and Benefit Concert.
