Deadstar Assembly, an American industrial metal band, was formed in 2001 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The group was founded by Dearborn and techno producer Luis Duran, who collaborated with MuBo on keyboards. Their debut show took place on March 30, 2002, at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale. The band's self-titled debut album, released in 2002, featured a cover of "Send Me An Angel" by Real Life and sold over 15,000 copies independently. In 2006, Deadstar Assembly released their second album, Unsaved. Their third album, Coat of Arms, was released in 2010 and featured contributions from former keyboardist MuBo. The band's music has been featured in various TV shows and video games. Their fourth album, Blame It on the Devil, was released in 2015.
