Rising up at the pinnacle of the music blogging era with his distinctive brand of barbed, glitched-out electro house and indie dance music, stateside DJ/producer Le Castle Vania (born Dylan Eiland) first made his mark on the electronic music scene in 2006 with a string of self-released works on his own label, Always Never. Raising his profile locally with a regular party in Atlanta, Georgia entitled Fuck Yesss, he simultaneously landed a plethora of remixes for comparatively high-profile contemporaries including drum and bass cult favourite Dieselboy, Boston rock band Designer Drugs and EDM lynchpin Kill The Noise and, by 2013, had signed the four-track Prophication EP to deadmau5’s world-renowned label, mau5trap. The following year, Eiland was involved in producing several songs for the blockbuster smash John Wick, including the widely streamed “Shots Fired” and “LED Spirals”. He reprised this role for the movie’s 2017 sequel, creating the hit “John Wick Mode” and even making a cameo appearance on-screen as a DJ. Continuing to maintain a steady output via Always Never, Eiland has since embarked on a run of conceptually darker 2019 singles entitled The Otherside Series, returning in January 2021 with a club-oriented house single alongside frequent collaborator Mariana Bell entitled “After Image”.
