Instupendo’s distinctive alt-electronic sound design is often described in contradictory terms: “both rapturously transportive and inwardly melancholy and introspective” and "at once kaleidoscopic and minimalistic". It’s earned him a global following, the admiration of notable collaborators like Toro Y Moi, Rostam, RAC and Ryan Hemsworth, audio-visual commissions for HBO and Urban Outfitters x Teenage Engineering, recognition from Pitchfork, PopMatters and Flaunt, play on taste-maker radio, as well as adds on flagship playlists. He’s performed at SXSW and FIAC, and supported Madeon, George Fitzgerald, Shallou, Snail Mail, Teen Daze and Golden Vessel.
