Copenhagen-based modern metalcore outfit NOTHING NOBLE provide neck-breaking, bouncy grooves that dig themselves into your marrow by utilizing oppressive atmospheres and insistent melodic lines that allow harmonic respite amidst the syncopation-heavy, energetic movements.
“Modern Dismay features soul-crushing, frustrated yells and growls juxtaposed against big crescendos and accompanying deep descents into darkness that add to the unyielding mood.”
Their sophomore album "Modern Dismay," which has been produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Kreutzfeldt (CABAL, MØL, Ghost Iris), is an exhibition of excessively groovy and deliciously dissonant, disgusting riffs and catchy choruses, and features guest performances by prominent vocalists from the international metal scene (COUNTERPARTS/END & MØL).
Alex Baker from Kerrang! Radio says the following about the sound on the new album:
"...so instantly and obviously brilliant that I immediately made them my Featured Artist Of The Week when I started playing them on my show. With gargantuan riffs and grooves that have an almost Mudvayne-esque funkiness to them at times, it is basically impossible to listen to these beasts without finding yourself just nodding along with a deep appreciation of the bounce and the thick textures they create."
