Cesar Munhoz created MITOMANO ® in 2009 as an experiment on media anxiety and cult of personality. Surrounded by cameras and beep sounds, he decided to blend real and fake in nightmarish happy-go-lucky songs like “The Hot Shit”, "Sorriso Medusa", and "F*deu".
MITOMANO ® 's music is influenced by punk, techno, krautrock, and the experimental take on vocals by artists like Daniel Johnston and Beck. His visceral stage show takes different formats depending on the venue.
