5MIINUST

5MIINUST, an Estonian musical group, was formed in 2015 in Võsu, Lääne-Viru County. The group gained initial recognition with their debut albums Korralik saavutus - Aasta plaat and Aasta plaat, released in 2016 under Legendaarne Records. These albums ranked among the top twenty best-selling records nationally in 2018, marking a significant breakthrough for the group. In 2017, 5MIINUST released their first EP, Rämmar. The following year, they released another EP titled Niid for Spiid, which included notable singles such as "Võlg" and "Jõul". In 2018, the group achieved significant chart success with the single "Aluspükse", featuring Nublu. This song spent six consecutive weeks at Number one on the Eesti Tipp-40 chart. In 2019, 5MIINUST signed with Universal Music Group's Baltic branch and achieved further chart success with singles such as "Paaristõuked" and "Peo lõpp", all of which topped the Eesti Tipp-40. They won "Artist of the Year" at the Estonian Music Awards twice. In 2023, 5MIINUST collaborated with Puuluup for the song "(nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi", which they performed at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. They qualified from the second semi-final and finished in 20th place with 37 points, marking a significant milestone for the group on an international stage.
