Sweeney is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer. He writes and produces every song on his records and plays every instrument on them. He has released 3 full-length recordings internationally and the drummer and songwriter for the highly claimed punk rock bands, Greenroom and Sky Walker. When he was 20 years old, he was diagnosed with a chronic illness called Ulcerative colitis. Since then, Sweeney dedicated his music to spread awareness to Crohn's disease and UC. In Sometimes Sky, he states this album was all about his initial lifestyle change and shock. He gained traction and recognition on YouTube from making music videos for songs “The Rain Song” and “Is This Over Know?” Both videos went off the charts and it gained attention from the Crohn’s and Colitis Federation of America. Sweeney partnered with the CCFA and went on a tour across America playing at multiple “Take Steps” events, preforming his songs and spreading his message across the nation. He released his sophomore album, Road to Recovery in August 2008. R2R displays a more heavy and complex sound. R2R is about adjusting and finding a way of living with UC. Finding his "road to recovery" is often heard with heartwarming lyrics and catchy melodies. Sweeney released his third album, Journey to Me in 2019. J2M, is about his journey back to the world of music after taking over 11 years off. The introduction song titled; "Silver" tells the story of just this. The 13 songs express emotion about his experience with love, struggles and sacrifices and has been well received by fans of his music.
