Lowly Light is the pseudonym for Matt Gorny, an award-winning songwriter and producer. Matt has collaborated on songs for dance artists such as Ultra Nate, Amanda Lepore, Luca Perra among others, bringing his unique production style to each project.
The sound of Lowly Light is a still-evolving journey, from the nu-disco jams of “Get Over Yourself” and “Cosmic Hearts”, the chilled out groove of “Prayin’” and “Candy Lied”, to the energetic indie pop of “Down the Coast”.
“Do You Feel Me” cracked the Spotify algorithm with 120k streams. Meanwhile “Lose You (John "J-C" Carr & Bill Coleman 808 Beach Remix)” was featured, along with The Weekend remix, on the music blog Acid Stag and is in regular rotation on SiriusXM channel 312.
The latest release “Lights Down Low” is the first collaboration with Mishell Ivon. It's a chill-pop synth-heavy groove with a nod to early Massive Attack and Morcheeba.
