Raquel Campelo, a 24-year-old singer/songwriter from Brasilia, Brazil, brings her sensibility and softness to her music in both English and Portuguese. With highly personal-truthful lyrics and a modern sound full of keyboards, synths, beats, samples and sound effects.
Raquel started writing songs and learning how to sing and play the guitar when she was 14, but she consider taking it as her professional career in 2017 when she recorded a song for the first time in a studio based in Los Angeles, California, where she was living. At the same time, Raquel started to perform on coffee shops, restaurants and bars.
She released her first single “Lake Song” on 2019 and a few months later Raquel released her first EP “Nostalgia” bringing her stories in a really melancholic indie folk atmosphere.
In 2020, she came out with a new face to her project. Neon lights, glitch/rgb effects and a lot of electronic elements are part of her new visual and sound identity. Her single “Colors" released in 2020 was the start of this new indie pop era that she turned to be in love with.
Now, she is releasing her new song “WHO (2 A.M.)” with a music video that shows people a little bit more of her world and identity.
