Lions at the Gate

Lions at the Gate is an American heavy metal band formed in 2021 by vocalist Cristian Machado, guitarists Ahrue Luster and Diego Verduzco. The trio had previously been members of Ill Niño before forming Lions at the Gate. Their debut single "Not Even Human" was released in 2021, followed by "Scapegoat" (2021) and "Bed of Nails" (2022). The band's lineup has evolved over time, with Josh Cuadra joining as drummer in 2023, replacing Fern Lemus. Their debut studio album, The Excuses We Cannot Make, was released in 2023.
