Origami Angel

Origami Angel, an American rock band from Washington D.C., was formed in 2016 by singer and guitarist Ryland Heagy and drummer Pat Doherty. The duo began their musical journey after the dissolution of a previous common band, releasing their debut EP Quiet Hours in April 2017. Their early releases included EPs such as Doing the Most (2018) and Holy Split (2019), which featured collaborations with Commander Salamander. In November 2019, Origami Angel released their debut studio album Somewhere City, receiving critical acclaim from publications like Pitchfork and Chicago Reader. The band's subsequent releases included the EP Origami Angel Broke Minecraft (2020) and the studio albums Gami Gang (2021) and Feeling Not Found (2024).
