Biography

Classical violinist Esther Abrami - born on October 16, 1996, in France – first came to prominence with a series of videos shared on social media before she achieved international fame. Her musical career began when she took her first violin lessons at the age of three. She studied at the Aix-en-Provence Conservatory, graduating at the age of 14 before attending the Chetham School of Music in Manchester, England. In 2017, she began studies at the Royal College of Music in London, England. Esther Abrami started her own social media video channel and published her first performances of classical works and covers of popular titles. She graduated with a master's degree from the Royal Conservatory of Birmingham (England) while continuing to build her social media presence by including tutorials, practice videos, and advice for young musicians. Thanks to her popular social media presence, Esther Abrami became the first classical musician to be nominated in the Social Media Superstar category at the Global Awards (2019). She signed a recording contract with the Sony Classical label and released her self-titled album in March 2022. The album was recorded with the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra and featured musical assistance from electronic musician Worakls on a track. The Esther Abrami album found the violinist performing works by classic composers Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Bach, Mozart, Ravel, Satie, Chopin and Clara Schumann, alongside contemporary compositions by Rachel Portman, Alban Claudin , Julian Lloyd Webber, and Amy Beach.
