Full name Hervé Le Sourd, born in Saint-Cyr-l'École, Yvelines, on February 19, 1991. He grew up in Fontenay-le-Fleury, a town in the same département located between Versailles and Trappes, and discovered music, drinking in rap and electro French touch. His curiosity was aroused by Air and Phoenix, who toured in the United States, but it was at a Jacques Higelin concert that it all clicked. Alongside his passion for soccer, which nurtured his dreams of professionalism, the young man soon began to create his first tracks on his computer. Eventually, at the age of 20, he passed his baccalauréat on his own, then moved to Paris to give his musical career a chance. He formed the electro-pop duo Postaal and managed to secure tour dates as far afield as England. In 2017, while working in the same studio as Yodelice, the latter asked him to write a song for Johnny Hallyday, whose latest album he was about to produce. Hervé sent him several texts, one of which was finally chosen by the French rocker. Having built up enough confidence to go solo, Hervé Le Sourd took the plunge. He was spotted by the Initial label, and saw the opportunity to open for Eddy de Pretto at the Zenith. He then prepared for the release of his first proper album, Hyper, which came out in 2020, a year after his first EP, Mélancolie F.C . In 2021, he won the Male Revelation prize at the Victoires de la musique awards. The following year, he was nominated in the Concert of the Year category. In 2023, he puts the finishing touches to the album Intérieur Vie, which includes the track "D'où je viens". A year later, Hervé enters the top 50 best-selling albums in France with Adrenaline (ranked #48). The melancholy title track features a message from singer-actor and former footballer Éric Cantona.
