Do you want to go back to the early 2000’s alternative nostalgia era? You’re in the right place.
We Are Sovereign exploded on to the scene with Bridges Burnt Lessons Learnt (Betrayal) feat Ryan Tuck O'Leary from American band Fit For A King in Aug 2021. They then followed with Nostalgia which exclusively premiered on Kerrang Radio! in May 2022. They want to help people through their music by having written about some of the most defined chapters of life we go through, covering Betrayal, Loss, Heartbreak, Torment, Reflection, Acceptance & Resilience. It all started in 2019 in a tiny bedroom of vocalist Laura.
After suffering for years with gender dysphoria & spending many years battling mental health, Laura had a life changing operation to feel comfortable within their own skin. The emotions of Laura’s life experiences are where a lot of the inspiration for the music, concepts and lyrics come from. When recovered from a journey of healing they began to recruit members.
