Indira Subotić, also known as Indira Radić, born on June 14, 1966, in Dragalovci, Serbia, is a Serbian singer of folk, ethno, turbo-folk, pop-folk, and pop music. Named after Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by her father, Radić began her music career in the early 1990s when she entered an amateur singing contest that was cancelled due to the Bosnian War. In 1992, she released her debut album Nagrada i kazna with the band Južni Vetar and moved to Belgrade. She recorded several albums with Južni Vetar before releasing her single, "Idi iz života moga", in 1995. Radić then joined Saša Popović's ZaM production team, recording successful hits like "Krug" (1996) with Srki Boy, "Izdajnik" (1997), and Voliš li me ti (1998). In 2003, her album Zmaj received numerous awards, including Album of the Year and Top-selling album. She gained popularity across the Balkans and held successful tours. In 2011, Indira released her album entitled Istok, sever, jug i zapad and Niko nije savršen in 2015.
