Jeremiah Chiu

Jeremiah Chiu is a Los Angeles–based, Chicago‑born multimedia artist, synth composer, graphic designer, educator, and community organiser. He operates at the rich intersection of analogue/digital synthesis, sound art, field recordings, and visual design. He trained as a classical violinist and pianist in his youth before diving into experimental music through ensembles like Icy Demons and Chandeliers, among Chicago’s vibrant improvisational scene. His solo work includes In Electric Time (2023), recorded live in two days at the Vintage Synthesizer Museum on a suite of rare analogue synths. In 2025, he collaborated with violist Marta Sofia Honer for the album Different Rooms.
