Copperman’s musical career began when he started composing songs while attending James Madison University. His first independent album, Believe, was released in 2003. He then moved England and signed with Sony Records. His next album, Welcome to Reality, was released in 2007. The album included the hit singles “As I Choke” and “All She Wrote”. He issued the This Is Ross Copperman EP in 2009. Copperman then moved back to the U.S., settling in Nashville, Tennessee and focusing on his songwriting and production skills. While he continued to release solo albums – Holding On and Letting Go (2012) and Lighthouse Shine EP (2013) – he focused more on his songwriting skills.
