The 24-year-old German producer from Brussels has been producing music for quite some time now. He writes, produces, and also spins the decks. His influences include a broad repertoire of genres such as electronic music (from trance to dubstep) and modern hip-hop.
M.O.T. says:
“I had several strong influences since I started to produce. Whether I worked on electronic genres or with acoustic instruments, I’ve shaped my style with authenticity. I produce across different genres in order to avoid redundancy. I like to challenge myself by collaborating with different artist and vocalists. I like to share creation while maintaining my musical touch. Each experience with another musician is an opportunity of originality. Starting from a simple chord progression allows me then to adapt and focus the specific feeling I want to assign. Whether it is a happy one or melancholic one. Sometimes I spend just few days on a song. Sometimes it takes me months…Each production is unique” Matter Of Tact has earned massive recognition collaborating with Belgian vocalist Husson. The track “You Don’t” got featured on blogs such as Aupium but also on mainstream press. His collaboration with Sharie on “Relief” also gained consideration from various media and labels.
He is currently working on multiple projects and an EP.
